False Lashes are for Everyone!

July 17, 2018

Whether you’re young or mature, never wear makeup, feel like your eyes are too small- doesn’t matter! There is a false lash out there for you. False eyelashes are just that- they are either made of false (plastic fibers) or real hair (mink, for example) on a strip that is glued right above the lash line using an adhesive. They are used to enhance the eyes, bringing the eye upward, making you look more youthful, wide eyed, awake and alluring.

Especially for a special occasion, false eyelashes are the perfect enhancement for professional photos. Our team always carries a range of sizes and ‘fluffiness’, especially suited and custom fitted for your eye shape. Now is your chance to try a fun new look if you haven’t already!

We are often asked about removal- it is just like a bandaid, you just pull and carefully peel from the eye. Because the glue occasionally attaches itself to eyelashes since it is so close to the lash line, be careful not to rip your own lashes out. Use a cream or oil based makeup remover to loosen the adhesive and gently pull from one of the corners and be patient.

Lastly, these are not to be confused with eyelash extensions. False eyelashes are meant to be worn like regular makeup, and taken off within a day. Eyelash extensions are applied as a tube and sealed over individual lashes and last for weeks, requiring specific care and cleaning.
