Honey for your Hair
Besides being a sweet addition to your tea, honey can be also be used to pamper your skin and hair. It is said that Queen Cleopatra’s beauty routine included bathing in milk and honey in order to keep her skin gentle and soft.
To avoid allergic reactions, always patch test the recipes on unbroken skin first.
For Lustrous Hair
Repair & Restore Hair Mask
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons natural yogurt
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, then massage the mask into your hair from the scalp to the ends. Leave the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes, then wash your hair as you normally do. Use this treatment once a week to restore dry and damaged hair.
Easy Conditioning Hair Mask
Equal parts of honey & your normal conditioner
Mix the two ingredients together, then apply into your hair after shampooing. For best results, apply to hair that is damp and not dripping wet. Cover your hair with a shower cap or towel, and leave the mixture on for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. This mask will gradually take your hair from dull and lifeless to smooth and shiny.
